The advent of the Corona virus, and the speed at which things are worsening, both in the UK and further afield, is a grave cause of concern for anyone working in the arena of mental health.
Not only are we faced with a potentially overwhelming collective anxiety, but as individuals, we may be triggered in numerous ways by the events that are unfolding around us.
I have moved my practice online, and am currently working with existing clients via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp and occasionally, via a good, old-fashioned phone call. However, I am aware that some people, who are not currently in therapy, may be feeling particularly anxious and afraid at the moment, and may benefit from some short term work that is aimed at helping them to manage their painful feelings. If you feel you would like to talk through your emotions in this turbulent time, do get in touch.
